KOSPI in a strong start as Wall Street gain.

Financeroll – South Korean stocks got off to a strong start on Thursday, tracking overnight gains on Wall Street, analysts said.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 55.97 points, or 3.36 percent, to 1,722.49 in the first 15 minutes of trading, rebounding from a plunge in the previous session.

Dollar opens at 1,183.0 won, down from 1,190.4 won. (YH/L8)
